I am a Cna and I love being able to help people with activities of daily living and especially those younger (under 70) who just need help with things that other people take for granted being able to do.

Thanks Amanda! And you’re right, those under 70 do need some extra special attention. That’s a great observation! Keep up the good work!

It is an honor and a privilege to help seniors and adults with disabilities achieve their goals. I love doing this work.

  3. Best part of CNA work has always been and will always be is my Residents. Many may come and go in one way or another, but most will leave a part of themselves with me forever.

Well said, Byron! Thank you so much for taking the time to really connect with your residents. I know it means as much to them as it does to you!

The feeling I get when making a difference in someone else’s life always makes me like I have purpose. To see them smile and laugh always makes me smile and laugh.

Wow Jeanne! It’s so important to feel like you have a purpose and to do something that makes you happy. You found both by working as a CNA. That’s very special! Thank you for sharing! And thank you for being an amazing nursing assistant!

Yes, Tina! When you can make someone smile, it improves their outlook and yours! Keep up the good work!

  7. Being a CNA is the hardest job I’ll ever love. Doing for people what they cannot do for themselves with respect and deference allows me to see the persons I care for hold on to what little dignity they have.

Wow, Kathryn! Serving your clients with “respect and deference” just sums it all up, doesn’t it? That is the true meaning of being a CNA! A thousand thank-yous are not enough! You have my complete respect and admiration.
