Thank you for this great stuff! Never in a million years would I have thought that nurses would be involved in incivility (the caregivers of all!). But, unfortunately we have. I am so grateful that you have brought this to the forefront and have given us a plan to deal with this! Thanks so much!!!

Thanks, Diann, for your kind words! Working in an atmosphere of incivility tears down communication between team members and eats away at everyone’s self-esteem and sense of trust. And, it’s chasing good people away from healthcare when we need them the most. It’s time for all of us in healthcare “just say no” to uncivil behaviors.
